The Billington Family Society

The society was formed September 2017 in Plymouth, Massachusetts. Members can trace their lineage back to the Billington family who sailed in 1620 to the new world. The family includes John, the father, Elinor, the mother, John Jr. and Francis. Our society is focused on research regarding this early pilgrim family from Plymouth, MA. We support DNA research which is sponsored by the General Society of Mayflower Descendants through Family Tree DNA.com. Our society is a non-profit. We support our mission by donation and membership. An associate member is someone that has not proven their line to the Billington’s. A member is someone who has proven lineage to the Billington’s of the Mayflower with the GSMD
